Mepps Aglia Long

All Mepps Aglia Long lures are deep-running spinners featuring willow leaf blades. When retrieved, the blade hugs the lure's body, allowing it to stay in deep pools long enough to entice a wide variety of fish.

Lure size is important. As a rule, use smaller lures to catch smaller fish and larger lures to catch bigger fish. Remember, plain spinners have a more subtle profile than dressed spinners; they will appear smaller to fish. This makes them ideal for panfish and stream trout. While fishing with dressed spinners can lead to catching larger fish, for stream trout fishing, you will likely catch more fish with plain spinners.
