Rapala SDRD

The Shadow Rap Deep combines a horizontal swimming action and a vertical drop that perfectly imitates a struggling baitfish between 1.20 m and 2.40 m deep. Rapala has perfected the natural action of a small fish in this new jerkbait that triggers fish strikes in three ways: during the retrieve, during the slow descent, and when it "comes back to life."

Most jerkbaits continue to move forward with each twitch. Not the Shadow Rap Deep. It turns almost 180 degrees to the right and then to the left, allowing it to be fished almost in place with minimal forward movement, thus maintaining the wobbly descent in the fish's strike zone.
